How to Integrate With Shortstack in Hive

Connecting your ShortStack account automatically imports your signups into Hive. This will let you create email automation from ShortStack signups (welcome series, etc.) and keep your subscriber list up to date!

Enable the ShortStack Integration

  1. In your Hive account, click Settings in the bottom left corner > Connect Data Sources. 
  2. Copy the link under ShortStack.
  1. In your ShortStack account, create your Campaign.
  1. Hover over the highlighted Form widget, and select Edit Widget Settings.
  1. In the pop-up window, click the Edit Form Design button.
  1. Then click the Integrations tab.
  1. Under the Add Fields column on the left, click the Hidden fields option.
  1. This will add a hidden field section to your campaigns where you can add your subscribers to a segment.
  1. Edit this section in the left sidebar to include the Label and Value (your segment names).
  1. Then click the Integrations column, and toggle the Webhook option to Yes.
  1. In the pop-up window, paste the Webhook link from Hive into the text box. And select the Content Type as application/json, then click Continue
  1. On the Map Fields pop-up window, edit the Hidden Field (which will be called whatever you chose to name it, i.e. hive_segment_name) from custom_field_1 to the Hidden Field name.
  1. Click Save & Exit on the remaining pop-up windows to complete the integration.
